Diesel fuel additive
The main task of diesel fuel additive is to ensure easy starting and trouble-free operation of the diesel engine at different temperatures and in all operating conditions.
By adding STANADYNE additive "Performance Formula" to diesel fuel in the correct ratio (250 l fuel : 0.5 l additive), engine performance improves, combustion in the cylinder improves, the cetane index increases by 2 units, fuel consumption decreases by 3 liters, and engine power increases by 2 kW. (Tests have been conducted by TalTech and are based on heavy truck data.)
When using diesel fuel additive, fuel combustion in the cylinder improves and toxicity indices in exhaust gas composition decrease. Engine performance improves, including diesel fuel supply devices, and engine service life is extended.
Fuel must ensure engine warm-up to operating temperature in the shortest possible time, have good detonation resistance to ensure normal combustion of the working mixture. Fuel must burn completely so that incomplete combustion products are not released in combustion chambers and exhaust pipes. Motor fuel properties must not change during use or storage. Motor fuel must not contain mechanical additives or water and must not cause corrosion of the engine fuel system, fuel tanks, and fuel pipes.
If the fuel meets all the above requirements, then engine service life and operation are also extended. To extend engine service life, the combustion process in the engine must be improved. To improve combustion in the engine, we recommend using STANADYNE diesel fuel additive - "Performance Formula".
How to use Stanadyne`s Fuel Additive:
- Pour the additive into the tank before fuelling;
- Add 100ml of additive to the 50 l of diesel.
